Why is it always fish on a Friday??
These fish are made from Bullseye glass and the main colour is light aqua, there is copper oxide powders in between the coloured glass and clear glass sheet, this fires into blue bubbles, which creates a lovely ocean effect.
The lines are hand drawn using glass line liquid and the fish has been fired in the kiln for over 18 hours (on a full fuse, which is at 804 degrees) and then fired again for another 18 hours to create the wavy shapes.
They are set into a lovely piece of 5ply wood using metal rods.
We are making another few and these will be ready in time to post off for Father's Day which is on 20th June.
